Jon Palmer is a writer and historian from Athens, New York. He previously served as the archivist for the Greene County Historical Society and is currently employed as the Ulster County Archivist - both experiences resulting in the formation of a strong opinion about his favorite brand of mechanical pencil. Since 2021 he has held the appointment as the fifth Greene County Historian. When he is not lost in the Catskills or fiddling with a camera he can be found among sundry piles of dusty papers consorting with ghosts and laughing to himself.
